STEPS Workshop

Within the framework of the STEPS program (Strengthening Engagement in Public Health Research) RUBSI is organising a Workshop for Civil Society Organisations, Government Representatives, Research Organisations and Professional Associations.
The Workshop will take place at the offices of the European Parliament and the Representation of the European Commission in Cyprus on Friday 19 March 2010.
The program will include presentation of the objectives of STEPS and the current situation on Public Health Research in Cyprus, presentation of the program Science in Society (EC 7th Framework Program) and research prospects under the European Agency for Health and Consumers. It will also include a discussion on Alzheimer Disease, the Elderly and the Family, which was selected as an important Public Health issue for Cyprus.
